[EVENT]SSI SymposiumNo. 5
A Future Society We Can Create That Leaves No One Behind

It is important for children, who will implement the future society, to participate in the process of planning and practicing for a future that leaves no one behind, as aimed for in the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With this goal, all members of society will be lively and well-being will be enhanced.

In this symposium, seizing the opportunity offered by the G7 Summit, G-Science Academic Conference, and U7+ being held in Japan in 2023, Japanese junior high school and high school students will present their practices and plans for achieving the SDGs and discuss ways to work on current social issues to create a better future society with high school students from overseas.
